Wakamatsu Castle was a Japanese castle located in Otemachi, Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. It is also known as Tsurugajo, and is often called by this name locally. Also, because there is another castle with the same name, it is also called Aizu Wakamatsu Castle. Furthermore, in literature, it is sometimes referred to as Kurokawa Castle or Aizu Castle. The current castle tower is a reconstruction, and has been designated as a national historic site as the Wakamatsu Castle Ruins.
